I know that it is, and it’s pretty easy to do. I have hypnotized several of my friends and have attempted certain tests to prove that they’re hypnotized.
For one, they all have the same reactions to certain perception tasks I have them perform (ie. tell them that I have tied a knob to their pen and that I am gradually increasing the temperature of the pen until it’s too hot for them to hold). They all reacted the same without knowing how the others had reacted.
Second, I had my brother (a guy with an unusual immunity to cold) stick his hand in a bucket of ice with a hypnotized friend and tell the friend it was warm water. I then had them keep their hands there until my brother could no longer hold his hand there. They would have NO reaction.
It’s actually pretty fun. Especially once you get into posthypnotic suggestions!
The myth of hypnosis is that you can make people do whatever you want. In hypnosis, people are only in a state of heightened suggestibility. They will not do things that they morally object to however. Therefore, unless someone is perfectly fine with robing a bank, it won’t happen.

use rubbing alcohol and scrub with a dish cloth then wipe with baby oil after the gum is off to preserve the leather(rubbing alcohol is very drying)

it’s not real. there is a psychological explanation for why it works for people, but all in all it’s not « real ».

it takes kind of long to explain, but you can message me if you want me to. the explanation is similar to the placebo effect.

It is possible, i believe

it is like putting someone to sleep, and requires the belief it will work (susceptibility) and an intense focus.

it is also a kind of misdirection, which i know works

you dont ask, you tell: « Listen guy I don’t wanna pitch for you as a starter anymore cuz they’res no pressure on me when I start. » Then tell him you perform better under pressure and thats not what she said.

If you want to go for the whole dramatic thing, put a small can of shaving cream in your mitt. Then, around the third inning of every game – squirt some around your mouth so you look like a rabid dog…this way, you can say « Hey, if you don’t want me giving the opposition rabies – you better switch me to relief… »
